In a heartwarming display of philanthropy, the Aliko Dangote Foundation (ADF) has extended its National Food Intervention Programme to Abuja, distributing thousands of bags of rice to 48 charity organizations and orphanages in the Federal Capital Territory.

Continuing their mission to alleviate economic hardship nationwide, the ADF, through the coordination of the Ummah Foundation, spearheaded the distribution effort, ensuring that vulnerable Nigerians receive much-needed support.

Mrs. Azeeza Hassan-Jibril, leading the charge, expressed gratitude for the collaboration with various groups, including Hope for Survival Children’s Home Gishiri and the Network of Women with Disabilities (NWD), among others.

The impact of this initiative was palpable as beneficiaries like Mrs. Khadija Oladipupo of the Mission for Education, Social and Health (MESH), attested to the nourishing effect the rice donation had on communities in need.

Hafsat Umar Gimba of the Gajiya Charity Foundation echoed sentiments of relief and gratitude, emphasizing the profound difference such acts of generosity make in the lives of the less privileged.

From Lugbe environs to marginalized communities represented by the Movement for Islamic Culture and Awareness (MICA), the ripple effect of Dangote’s generosity was felt far and wide, as Adeniyi Akeem Akanbi expressed profound appreciation.

Moreover, Lois Auta, President of the Network of Women with Disabilities (NWD), hailed Dangote’s commitment to marginalized communities, citing the foundation’s solidarity and empathy towards their cause.

As Ramadan approached, Mrs. Rakiya S Bamalli of the JADAFIA Group commended the ADF for their timely support, which bolstered Ramadan outreach programs, providing essential supplies to families and communities facing hardship.

Also speaking Mr. Femi Akosile of the Bimbola Nutrition and Health Foundation thanked the Aliko Dangote Foundation for their partnership and unwavering commitment to making a positive difference in communities, underscoring the transformative impact of their generosity.

The resounding chorus of gratitude from beneficiaries underscores the profound impact of corporate social responsibility initiatives like those championed by the Aliko Dangote Foundation, inspiring hope and renewing faith in humanity across Nigeria.
