Scores of bandits were killed in a confrontation between rival bandit factions in Between near Mada on the road between Gusau and Tsafe LGA in Zamfara State.
The violent clash on Sunday morning, initiated by the infamous bandit groups Kachallah Mai Yankuzu and Dogo Bali, marked one of the bloodiest encounters in their ongoing feud.
Dogo Bali reportedly mobilized his fighters for a surprise attack on Yankuzu’s hideouts, sparking a fierce gun battle that began at 7 am and continued to escalate.
Sources indicate that numerous fighters from both sides have been killed, with the fighting still ongoing at the time of this report.
These terrorist groups have been linked to multiple killings and abductions in Gusau and Tsafe LGA, as well as the kidnappings in Danmusa and Kankara.
