EFCC Arrest 23 Internet Fraudsters In Sokoto

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Sokoto Command Friday arrested  23 alleged Internet Fraudsters otherwise known as Yahoo Yahoo boys within the metropolis.

The alleged fraudsters, who were apprehended following due intelligence and monitoring at the Bafarawa  and Kalkalawa estates areas of Sokoto were seen to be living flamboyantly beyond their genuine sources of income.

Acting on the flamboyancy of their lifestyles, operatives of the commission swoop and arrested them while investigations continue according to a source. 

The source who divulged that the alleged fraudsters 

will be charged as soon as investigations are concluded added items recovered from them include Coralla sport car 2009 model, another 2015 model White Coralla car 2015, 1 generator, 16 different laptops, 

30 different phones and 

2 MTN Routers

Giving further details on the identities of the alleged fraudsters, the source from EFCC listed them to include, Joy Ofem, Azeez Naimot, 

 Ibrahim Amadu, Aigbekan Daniel, Adedayo Michael,  Imran Mubaraq, Oliyide Habeeblah, Wasiu Lukman Adekunle, Musa Abdulaziz, Abdullahi Ibrahim, Adejoh Nebiu Muhammad and Ibrahim Mubarak.

Others are Ahmed Ibrahim Abdullahi, Abdullahi senusi Adejoh, Umar Idris, Muhammad Nuhu, Faisal Ahmed, Aliyu Ismail, Elijah Adebayo, Abubakar Bashir, Sakariya Ibrahim, Balogun Abdulayyan and

 Buni Husaini.
