Eid-El-Fitri: ZAMFARA CP FELICITATES WITH MUSLIMS FAITHFUL
Ahead of Eid-El-Fitri celebration, Zamfara police command has deployed maximum security to ensure hitch free festivities.
This is contained in a statement issued in Gusau on Saturday by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, SP Muhammad Shehu.
The Commissioner of Police, Ayuba N Elkanah facilitated with Muslims, especially the good people of Zamfara on their Eid-El-Fitri Sallah celebration.
“The CP said that, adequate security arrangement has been put in place to ensure hitch free celebration before, during and after the period.

“The command is partnering with sister security agencies, religious and community leaders to avert any unwarranted incident and also safeguard lives and property in all the 14 LGAs of the state.
“Among the crime prevention strategies adopted were rigorous patrol, stop and search.
“The officers will cover vulnerable locations, especially Eid praying grounds, recreation centres, highways, parks and other public places across the state”, Shehu said.
Elkanah therefore calls for continuous collaboration among security agencies and the host communities to achieve this mandate.
“There is need for effective sharing of information on activities of criminal elements for quick response”, he said.
