Eid-el-Kabir: Wali’s campaign team greets Muslims, seeks unity for Yobe’s progress
The Baba Malam Wali Media Campaign Team has extended warm Eid-el-Kabir greetings to the Muslim faithful, while calling for unity and continued support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yobe state.
In a statement signed by Abdulmumin Kolo Gulani, the team reflected on Alhaji Baba Malam Wali’s performance in the recent gubernatorial primary, where he secured 236,711 votes out of 254,013 cast across the state’s 178 wards.
According to the team, this outcome demonstrates the trust and confidence citizens have in Wali’s leadership, experience, and vision for Yobe’s development.
Special appreciation was expressed to the Chairman of Critical Stakeholders and Minister of Police Affairs, Senator Ibrahim Geidam, for his guidance and dedication to APC unity and stability in the state.
The team also thanked Governor Mai Mala Buni for his leadership, political maturity, and commitment to both the party’s success and Yobe’s growth.
Commendations went to all senatorial, House of Representatives, and State Assembly candidates who secured tickets, as well as stakeholders, elders, youths, women groups, supporters, and loyal party members across the three senatorial zones for their discipline and unity during the primary exercise.
The campaign team acknowledged all aspirants who participated in the gubernatorial, senate, house, and assembly primaries for their sportsmanship and democratic values.

In the spirit of Eid El-Kabir, the team called on former aspirants and their supporters to join hands with Alhaji Baba Malam Wali and the APC family in building a stronger, more prosperous Yobe State.
Victorious candidates at all levels were congratulated, with prayers for greater success ahead. The team urged APC members and supporters to remain peaceful, prayerful, and united to sustain Yobe’s developmental achievements.
The statement concluded with prayers for Allah’s acceptance of sacrifices, blessings for leaders, and continued peace, progress, and prosperity for Yobe State and Nigeria.
