Gombe State and Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe (FTH, Gombe) have signed a partnership to run a 100 Bed Capacity Hospital at Malam Inna Community of Gombe town.
In his remarks, The Chief Medical Director FTH,Gombe, Dr Yusuf M. Abdullahi, has appreciated the gesture by the State Government for confinding on FTH, Gombe to manage the Mallam Inna Hospital, while commending the State Commissioner of Health, Dr Habu Dahiru and other stakeholders for the initiative.
Dr Yusuf also assured the State Government and people of the community that FTH will offer quality health care services at the hospital.
Earlier on in his own speech, The Commissioner of Health, Dr Habu Dahiru stated that, it was an important milestone in the history of healthcare in Gombe State for a giant Hospital like FTG, Gombe to given the management of such a community Hospital.
While giving his vote of thanks, the District Head of Mallam Inna, Alhaji Sa’idu Abubakar Kwairanga, stated on behalf of his community and other surrounding communities hoped to benefit, they are eternally grateful to the State Governor, Alhaji Inuwa Yahaya, CON (‘Dan Majen Gombe). Other important dignitaries the District Head appreciated are, Professor Idris (‘Dan Isan Gombe), Professor Aliyu U. Elnafaty(Vice Chancellor, Gombe State University) plus other stakeholders that made it possible.
