Governor Mbah offers N10 million bounty for capture of policemen’s killers

Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State has taken a decisive stance following the tragic killing of two policemen in the state by offering a N10 million bounty for information leading to the arrest of the perpetrators.

Speaking after a State Security Council meeting, Governor Mbah affirmed the state’s commitment to pursuing the culprits relentlessly.

Addressing the press alongside key security officials, including the Commissioner of Police and the State Director of the State Security Services, Governor Mbah condemned the heinous act and vowed to utilize all available resources to apprehend the suspects.

Attributing the crime to members of the Eastern Security Network (ESN), Governor Mbah urged the public to remain vigilant and report any sightings or relevant information to law enforcement agencies.

He emphasized the state’s determination to ensure that justice is served for the slain officers and their families, offering condolences to the bereaved families and pledging government support.

Governor Mbah issued a stern warning to the perpetrators, assuring them that they would face the full force of the law. He highlighted the state’s commitment to deploying technology and manpower to track down the criminals and make Enugu State an inhospitable environment for lawlessness.

The governor’s announcement underscores the seriousness with which Enugu State is tackling crime and sends a clear message that such acts of violence will not be tolerated.

The incident occurred on Friday night when armed individuals, suspected to be members of the ESN, attacked and killed two policemen.
