The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said they are still reviewing the outcomes of the February, 25th National Assembly election in Sokoto wit a view to making informed decision soonest.

The commission who debunked insinuations on possible rerun in all the NASS seats, said the election has not been declared inconclusive.

Clarifying the issues, a reliable source from the commission who would not want his name on print said their office has been inundated with calls regarding possible inconclusive or supplementary election of the 25th February 2023 general election which according to him is baseless rumour.

According to the source, issue of inconclusive elections in Sokoto State does not even arise, hence election officials engaged by the commission right from the Poll Officials, to the Registration Area collation officers, the Local Government Area collation Officers and State Collation Officers have collated results and reported to the commission as well.
