His Excellency, Comrade Dr. Nasiru Idris Kauran Gwandu, Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Nigeria, received an honorary doctorate degree from DG Goenka University in Delhi, India. 

The award recognizes Governor Idris’s substantial contributions to educational reform and socio-economic development within Kebbi State.

The honorary doctorate highlights Governor Idris’s dedication to improving educational access and quality, a key tenet of his administration’s vision for the state’s youth. 

The ceremony coincided with the graduation of numerous Kebbi State indigenes who completed various programs at DG Goenka University.
