Lawmaker Empowers Constituents  With  Tricycles, Others In Sokoto

The member representing Illela/Gwadabawa Federal constituency Dr Abdullahi Balarabe Salame has empowered no fewer than 62 constituents with Tricycles and other empowerment items in the state.

Our correspondent gathered  that the Lawmaker who represent made the donation in a brief occasion at his resident in Sokoto .

Inaugurating the distribution, Alhaji Bello Goronyo, the state People Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman appreciated the Lawmaker for his sustain commitment toward easing the hardship of his constituents .

Goronyo said the gesture is a well known activity by Salame even before his defection to PDP in the state.

“You are well known as a great leader who always have the feeling of your people at heart, even before you join us we always respect you for your commitment.

“This gesture is in furtherance to the already sustain fatherly role Salame has been playing since inception.

“As such, we will continue to thank you for your dedication in leading with example, while urging our elected officials to emulate same,” he said.

The PDP Chairman urged the beneficiaries to judiciously utilised the items in order to become self reliance and further support others around them.

Earlier the Lawmaker said the project is in continuation of his empowerment program in the Constituency to ease the current economic hardship on the people.

“This is a gesture to address the current hardship and fight poverty among our people. 

“Today in continuation to this commitment we are sharing four tricycle, 25 motorcycle and 33 water pumping machines in order to support our people,” he said.

Salame, commended Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, for his commitment and tolerance toward level playing ground for all people in the state and ensuring good governance to the people of the state.
