MAIPALACE DISTRIBUTES RAMADAN PACKAGES TO 5000 CONSTITUENTS
The Lawmaker representing Gusau/Tsafe federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Alhaji Kabiru Mai palace has embarked on distribution of food items as ramadan gesture to 5000 beneficiaries from Gusau and Tsafe local government areas.
Speaking at the distribution of the items in Gusau on Sunday, Maipalace said the gesture was aimed to provide succour to constituents and ease the suffering occasioned by the current economic inbalance.
VMTNews report that the items distributed by the lawmaker include Rice, Spaghetti, Indomie, Macaroni and Milk among others.

The lawmaker said he procured assorted food items worth millions of naira to be distributed to people of the constituents to carryout ramadan fast with ease.
According to him, the beneficiaries comprised officials of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), political and community based organizations, security agents, media organizations, disabled persons, orphans, less previlege and vulnerable group, women groups, religious and community leaders.
He commended the committee incharge of handling the exercise with justice and fairness and assured the constituents that more of the gesture are underway.
Some of the beneficiaries interviewed by the Journalists at the event expressed gratitude to the lawmaker for cushioning their plight in the month of holy Ramadan.
