MATAWALLE MEETS ZAMFARA APC EXECUTIVES, ASSURES SUPPORT FOR PARTY DEVELOPMENT
Governor Bello Matawalle, and State Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday met with the State Executive Committee of the party.
During the meeting both the governor and the committee resolved to continue to work together for the development of the party in the state.
This is contained in a statement issued in Gusau on Tuesday by the state Publicity Secretary of the party, Malam Yusuf Idris Gusau.
Matawalle assured his full commitment to the needs, growth and development of the party.
He urged the party leaders to always maintain an open door and give listening ears to all and sundry.
He expressed satisfaction with the party development in the state under the chairmanship of Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani.
“I commend you for making the party more visible within and outside the state and also promoting its chances to success”.
During the meeting, the governor expressed appreciation on how people of the state trooped out in their large numbers last Thursday to receive President Muhammadu Buhari, whose sympathy visit was however truncated by bad weather.

He assured that he would continue to do his best in making life better for all the good people while going by the manifestoes of the APC of ensuring that no one was left out.
Earlier in his remarks, the APC State Chairman, Tukur Umar Danfulani, commended the governor for his support for the party.
Danfulani maintained that the party leadership in the state would continue to support the governor in all ramifications by working closely with him for the development of the state.
The party chairman informed the governor that the party had started vigorous contact and mobilisation among people of the state which was yielding positive results.
He said the APC led government in the state had already established bright chances of the party from now to 2023.
He also commended the support, loyalty and solidarity he was enjoying from the state executive council which he noted accounts to the brighter chances of the party throughout the stated.
