MD Zamson Oil & Gas Donates 100 Bags of Rice to Sokoto Orphanage

As part of his corporate social responsibility and effort to put smiles on the faces of less privileged,vulnerable, the Managing Director, Zamson Oil and Gas, Zayyanu Musa Bashar, has donated 100 bags of rice to sokoto orphanage.
Bashar said the gesture was as a result of an earlier appealed made by Governor Ahmed Aliyu on the need for the well to do in the state to assist orphans.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the Sokoto State Governor, the Chief of Staff, Government House, Aminu Haliru Dikko, commended the donor for the benevolence gesture.
He called on other well meaning citizens to donate generously to the orphanage.
“These children are ours, so we need to collectively take care of them,” he stated.
The Chief of Staff further charged the management of the orphanage to ensure the proper utilization of the food items.
The chief of staff also restated government’s determination to continue to ensure the welfare of the orphans.

Earlier, the representative of the Managing Director, Khairu Abdullahi said the gesture was part of their effort to assist the needy in the state.
He added that Zamson Oil and Gas firm has for long been rendering humanitarian support to vulnerables and the needy in the state.
In her remarks, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry for Social Welfare, Amina Muhammed Jekada, thanked the donor for the assistance,and assured effective utilization of the food item.
