Media outfit to honour 2 prosperous Professors who turn Governors.

Northern Merit Magazine is set to honour Prof. Ben Ayade and Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum of Cross Rivers and Borno States respectively.

Mr Abubakar Saddiq-Mohammed, the magazine’s Editor-In-Chief made the disclosure in a statement made a available to Journalists in Birnin Kebbi on Saturday.

The EIC described the two professors as leaders who have turned potentials to prosperity.

He said:”Prof. Prof. Ben Ayade and Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum have actually turned potentials to prosperity and this earned the the award of Man of High Moral Worth and Great Achievements.

“The duo have combined knowledge, vision, character, hardwork and fear of God in discharging their official responsibilities as governors.

“We are bold to say that these two gentlemen have displayed exceptional leadership and capacity in the governance of their states.”

According to him, the award will be presented on Feb. 22, 2021 and March 1, 2021 respectively in their offices.

He, however, said that the raging COVID-19 pandemic would not allow a bigger celebration as planned.

“Our editorial direction focuses primarily on “Northernisation Agenda”- A principle which preaches the need to rebuild the north and return it to the path of prosperity, unity and peace for everyone.

“The noble achievements in office which stands shoulder high above every other individual contributions can not be swept under the carpets.

“As a media organization which celebrates excellence, we find your excellencies very deserving of re cognition as Men of High Moral Worth and Great Achievements,” he noted.
