Membership revalidation exercise boost APC’s strength in Zamfara—Liman

The ongoing membership registration/revalidation exercise of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has boosted the strength of the party in Zamfara state.

The State Chairman APC Caretaker Committee, Alhaji Lawal Liman stated this at the distribution of materials for the second batch of the exercise in Gusau on Thursday.

Liman expressed the optimism that the exercise would boost party membership and place it for the victory in 2023 and beyond.

He said the recent reconciliation of the party’s stakeholders in the state had yielded positive results in promoting unity, peace and stability in the party.

He commended the party leader in the state and former state governor, Alhaji Abdul’aziz Yari for his continued support for the development of the party in the state.

“We have witnessed larged turn out of registration and revalidation exercise in the first batch of the exercise.

“We expect more than that because large number of members of the party are willing to revalidate their membership.

“We are going to enroll all of them in the second batch of this exercise”, he explained.

Liman called on the party members in the state to continue to be united ahead of subsequent elections in the state.

Earlier, while presenting the materials for the exercise to Local Government Committees, the Secretary of the State Caretaker Committee of the party, Alhaji Sani Musa commended good conduct and manner exibited by the party members during the first batch of the exercise.

He thanked the party officials who carryout the exercise at LGAs, wards and polling units levels.

“Our hope is that as we started this exercise with progress to record more in  the second batch.”, he said.

The Chairman  APC Igbo Community Progressive Forum in the state, Jude Nwoti commended the state chapter of the party for involving Igbo members in the exercise.

Nwoti assured continued support to the party by members of the forum.
