Minister of FCT Commissions Hong Township Road Constructed by Fintiri

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory FCT, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello has commissioned 3.2km Hong township road.

The Minister while speaking expressed delight with the project among others across Adamawa stressing that the greatest Infrastructure a government can give to any community are good roads.

He assured that all federal roads in the state will soon be constructed including the Kudzum and Dilchim bridges along Michika/ Madagali road assuring that the federal government will support Governor Umaru Fintiri.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri while addressing the gathering said the Hong township project is part of the Urban renewal Programme of his administration adding that government will sustain its developmental drive until all Urban centres and semi Urban centres in the state have beffiting roads.

In his remarks, the Commissioner of Works and Energy, Alhaji Adamu Atiku Abubakar said the road projects have fully adhered to the designed construction and specifications in the contractual agreement.

There were goodwill messages from former Acting Governor of Adamawa State Ambassador James Barka and former Minister of Health, Doctor Aliyu Idi Hong lauded Governor Umaru Fintiri for his people oriented projects and assured him the support of the people of Hong.

Highlight of the event was cultural dance display.
