Philanthropy: Kebbi Gov.’s wife confers with traditional title in Gwandu district
The Wife of Kebbi Gov. Hajiya Nafisa Nasir-Idris, has been conferred with traditional title as “Zarumar Kasar Dalijan” by District Head of Dalijan, Alhaji Almustapha Abdullahi, of Gwandu Local Government Area of the state.
The Certificate of the title was presented to Hajiya Nasir-Idris by Alhaji Sani Umar, “Magajin Dalijan in Birnin Kebbi on Wednesday.
Presenting the certificate, Umar, said that the title was based on Hajiya Nasir-Idris’ philanthropic gesture and ,love for the people of the district.
“The title will also serve as a morale booster and encouragement for Hajiya Nasir-Idris in order to sustain the philanthropic activities she has been doing,” he said.

In her acceptance speech, Hajiya
Nasir-Idris, expressed happiness over the conferment of the traditional title.
She thanked the district head and promised that the government led by her husband, Dr. Nasir Idris would always carry the traditional institutions along when making policies and programmes that had direct bearing on the general public.
