POLICE ARREST WIFE FOR STABBING HUSBAND TO DEATH IN ADAMAWA
The Adamawa state police command has arrested a 20 year old Caroline Barka for stabbing her husband to death.
A press release by the Police Public Relation Officer Suleiman Nguroje reveals Caroline is a resident of Anguwan Tamiya in Madalgai Local Government area of Adamawa state.

She was arrested on the 22nd of July 2022 following a report by one of the deceased relatives
According to him, on the night of the incident an argument had ensued between Caroline and her husband Barka Dauda (38), after he came home drunk and fall on their one year old baby, which led to a serious fight between the two.

Having accused the husband of drunkenness, habitual late nights and failure to provide basic necessities for the family,she brought a knife and stabbed him.
He was rushed to the hospital unconscious, and later confirmed dead.
Police investigation also reveals Caroline (a nursing mother) was married to the deceased for two years.
Meanwhile, Police Commissioner Sikiru Akande had commended the locals for exposing the incident, thereby making it impossible for the criminal to escape justice, saying the suspect will be prosecuted accordingly as soon as the investigation is over.
