Politics: Group condemns Zamfara APC over Yarima’s revalidation
The Coalition of APC Amana Forum, a Group of APC supporters in Zamfara State has condemned the party’s action in the state against the former Governor of the state, Sen. Ahmad Sani Yariman Bakura
The exercise entered in to the fourth day, but the former Governor isyet to revalidate his membership.

In a statement issued to newsmen in Gusau on Tuesday, the Chairman of the Forum, Aliyu Iliyasu Muhammad Gusau described the incident as disrespect to the personality of the former Governor, (Sen. Yarima)
“It is disheratening that the leadership of the APC in Zamfara refused to revalidate the membership of the former Governor in the ongoing APC membership revalidation exercise as it entered the fourth day.
“We condemned in totality the treatment by the leadership of the APC in Zamfara State against the personality of Yarima.
“To this end, the Forum has drawned the attention of APC National Caretaker Committee led by Governor of Yobe State, MaiMala Buni and leadership of the party in the State and Bakura local government to reverse their decision of denying the Chieftain of the party’s right to validate his membership”, Iliyasu said.
“The former Governor did not deserve such treatment from the party’s stakeholders in view of the critical role he played in forming the APC and nursing it to attained where it is today.
“Yarima had been the father for all APC members whose legacies to the state goes beyond such ill-decision.
“If what Senator Kabir Marafa and his likes from the former G8 Group did that subjected the party into loss could be forgiven, then Yarima’s issues need to be overlooked”, he added.
According to him, there is need for the National Caretaker Committee of the APC to hasten intervening to rescue the party from cracks.
The Forum also added that Yarima is a politician with National reputation and skills to derive masses support to political movements whose legacies could not be forgotten within a short while.
“Members of the forum therefore implored party faithfuls in the state to join the crusade for maintaining the dignity and integrity of the Former Governor, statesman and also an APC national chieftain”, he explained.
Further reports that the APC Chaiman of Yarima’s polling unit in Bakura town, Halliru Danyaya had on Monday at a press conference advised Yarima to apologize to the stakeholders of the party in his constituency over the alleged anti party activities he played at the recently concluded Bakura Constituency by-election which is against the party’s policy before he could be allowed to revalidate his membership.
