Tambuwal urges new CP to make the State safe.

Sokoto State Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has asked and urges the new commissioner of police in the state Ali Aji Janga not to relent in his assignment of crime and criminality.

The Governor gave the charge on Saturday while receiving the new commissioner of police who was accompanied by other senior police officers of the state command at government house in Sokoto.

Tambuwal further added that his administration’s vision of making the state the safest in the country can be realised , if the police effectively collaborates with other security agents while expressed his willingness to always support and partner with the police.

In his remark the Sultan of Sokoto , His Royal Highness Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar assured the new commissioner of community partnership with the police in fighting crime in the state.

Sultan made the assertion when the new CP Ali Aji Janga paid him him in his palace in Sokoto , stressing that fighting crime is a collective efforts of all.

Earlier CP Ali Aji Janga vowed to rid Sokoto of crimes through professionalism and effective utilization of community policing approaches.

Janga expressed satisfaction of his predecessor and promised to redouble his efforts in making Sokoto a crime free state through adoption of professional policiing .

Meanwhile, the CP had earlier yesterday visited the AIG Zone 10, Muhammad A. Mustafa who charged the CP to remain resolute in his crime fighting efforts and ensure professionalism prevails in all policing activities of the State.

The CP assured the AIG of his commitment and dedication to nip crime in the bud in the state of Sokoto.
