Taraba 2027: Ussa Youth endorse Rikupki for second tenure over great performance

Ahead of the forthcoming general elections, the Youth of Ussa Local Government Area have declared their support for the Member representing the Constituency at the State House of Assembly Hon. Joshua Rikupki for a second tenure “due to his excellent performance so far”.
Mr Danladi Rimamsanati, the spokesman for the Coalition of Ussa Youth Resident in Abuja disclose this in a Press statement issued on Thursday.
The statement reads in parts “After extensive consultations, we have unanimously endorsed Hon. Joshua Ureyang Rikupki for a second term as Member representing Ussa Constituency in the Taraba State House of Assembly.
“Our decision is based on Hon. Rikupki’s remarkable performance and commitment to the development of Ussa Constituency. In the past two years, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership, driving projects and initiatives that have positively impacted the lives of our people.
“For record purposes, some of his notable achievements include the construction of a butcher house, rural electrification, and road projects, including the Kpambo Puri bridge and Zaura bridge, organising a medical outreach, providing free healthcare services to thousands of people in Ussa and Yangtu Special Development Area.

” He also initiated the installation and refurbishment of 15 boreholes across the constituency, thereby improving access to clean water. He also provided financial support, groundnut seedlings, and food items to widows affected by banditry and farmers/herders clashes in the constituency, and well as aunched a scholarship scheme for Ussa students in tertiary institutions and facilitated the construction of classrooms and boreholes in several schools.
“Coming to his core legislative responsibilities, he has contributed to motions addressing Hepatitis B and C prevalence and facilitated the establishment of a permanent security checkpoint at GSS-Vocational Center, among several other achievements”.
He further said that these achievements demonstrate Hon. Rikupki’s dedication to serving Ussa Constituency and urge all stakeholders to support his re-election bid, while pledging their unwavering support for him.
