The Project Master, Gov. Fintiri Flags Off Bole/Lakare Road in Yola South

Gov. Ahmadu Fintiri also known as the Project Master, yesterday Wednesday flagged off  the construction of 3.6km Bole/Lakare road.

He urged the people of Yola South to join hands and support him and the former Nigeria’s Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to head the course of good governance for the masses in the state and country at large.

He made the call at Bole Community in Yola South when he flagged off  construction of 3.6km road in the area as part of his promise to the community few months ago when he went for, on-the-spot assessment of the deplorable condition of the road.

He revealed that the flagged off is in fulfillment of his campaign promise and that he will continue to do more till his last tenure as Governor of the state.

He urged people in the area to trust his administration as he keeps working to improve the standard of the State.

According to him, Adamawa project should not be reduced to party affairs but should be taken as burden to change the ugly narratives that hitherto portray the state in bad light among it’s counterpart across the country.

He mentioned that, the recent Infrastructure award presented to him by the Federal Government is a testament that with him as the Leader of the state, the people are in safe hands and can be assured of quality leadership.

He called on the people to rally round, irrespective of their political party, to ensure his reelection as the Governor and the former VP Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as President in order to enjoy more dividends of democracy in the state.

The Governor has directed that the project should be completed in six months time as against the 12 months initially planned by the contractor.

He appealed to the masses to be patient as the Government under his watch is doing everything possible to ensure even distribution of projects.

State Commissioner of Works and Energy, Hon. Adamu Atiku, in his speech, affirmed that since his assumption into office, Governor, Fintiri has remain true to his promise to the people.

He said that the Governor has shown leadership capacity that cut across all sectors and zones of the state and deserves to be reelected back so as to enable him continue with the good works.

The District Head of Yola South, Alhaji Mohammad Ahmad Mustafa, in response, expressed gratitude for the Government intervention in the community, who were left to their fate with the deplorable road condition for over fifty years until now.

He revealed that, with the flagging off, of the road, the people are happy. He also urged them to get their PVCs ready to reciprocate the Governor’s efforts by voting him come 2023.
