UDUTH Dissociates Self From Fake Social Media Account

Warns general public, says no recruitment ongoing in the hospital

The management of Usman DanFodio University Teaching Hospital (UDUTH) Sokoto has dissociated itself from the social media handle acclaimed to be of that of   Chief Medical Director Prof Anas Ahmad Sabir.

In a statement issued to newsmen on Monday by the assistant chief information officer of the hospital Wadata Mansur said the attention of the management of the hospital has been drawn to an information making round in the social using the name of the CMD Prof Anas Ahmad Sabir calling people demanding money from them so as to give them contract and employment in the hospital.

The statement further explained that if there is vacancy for employment the hospital management will follow due process in advertising same in the national dailies for interested applicants.

It also said the hospital operates a transparent recruitment exercise and biding process for an interested , qualify individuals.

It noted that the Chief Medical Director will not ask anybody to pay money before giving employment or awarding of contract urging the general public to disregard the information.

It stated that the management has contacted the security agencies to investigate and unravel the perpetrators in bid of bringing them  to book.
