Wali: APC governorship candidate inaugurates media team, speaks on promoting Buni’s achievements in Yobe
The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate and former Secretary to the Yobe state government, Alhaji Baba Malam Wali, has inaugurated the Baba Malam Wali media campaign team and charged its members to continue projecting the achievements and positive image of the administration of Governor Mai Mala Buni, describing himself as an integral part of the government.
The inauguration took place during a meeting with members of the team at his residence in Damaturu, where Wali emphasised that his political vision was anchored on continuity and consolidation of the developmental strides recorded in Yobe state over the years.
He urged the team to remain focused despite political criticism.
The campaign director-general, Abdulmumin Kolo Gulani, assured Wali of the team’s commitment to securing victory, noting that coordinators were selected from all 17 Local Government Areas (LGAs) based on competence and professional media experience.

During the event, Wali unveiled a campaign vehicle equipped with a public address system and launched mobile phone distribution to enhance coordination.
He thanked an anonymous philanthropist for funding the procurement.
Team members pledged their dedication to promoting Wali’s vision and Yobe state’s developmental achievements.
