Wikki Tourists Football Club fans in Bauchi State have started to fear that they could remain relegated at the end of the 2024 Nigeria National League (NNL) season amid lack of sport administrator as Chairman of the club

The Wikki Tourists suffered a 2-0 defeat to Nasarawa United last Saturday in Lafiya marking their loss at the season to 2nd position with 23 points from twelve matches.

And some fans are starting to worry that the club could be in danger of dropping down to the Championship.

Adamu Saidu said as it stands if Wikki Tourists lose in their next match with Yobe Desert that could be in the relegation zone

Because the club sports administrators who run the club effectively get out of relegation and triumph to the premier league.

“We need someone who knows Sports, speaks sports and coordinates sports urging the State government to look into the administration of Wikki Tourists management,” he said.

Another Sports Enthusiast James Bawa the management of Wikki need to take drastic steps or else they will remain relegated for ever.

The state government is trying but the management needs to work hard to meet up in their next matches.

“But should they not pick up a point in the next games Wikki would incredibly find themselves in the bottom three.

And new Chairman Adamu Gotal in his recent press briefing has hinted that it could take a while to turn things around.

“I didn’t expect to solve everything in one day. You have to have more aggression in your game, more speed and more competitive duels which go your way.

He commended the government for the support and funding of the club.
