Wizkid excites fans with hint at new album
Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has hinted at a new album, saying he is having fun making the project.
The Grammy Award-winning artiste made this known in a post on his X handle.
He Wrote: “Having so much fun making this next one! Can’t wait to share😇🦅😇#album”.
Responding to the anticipation and exchanges among fans, Wizkid wrote: “E go drop, make una stop dey fight”.
The post has generated excitement among fans, who have been expecting the singer’s next full-length project.

Wizkid, however, did not disclose the title or release date of the forthcoming album.
The new project would follow Morayo, Wizkid’s sixth studio album released in November 2024.
Morayo, which was dedicated to his late mother, Jane Balogun, featured collaborations with several artistes, including Brent Faiyaz, Asake, Jazmine Sullivan, Tiakola and Anaïs Cardot.
The sensational singer has released other major projects including Made in Lagos, More Love, Less Ego and Sounds From the Other Side.
