Yobe College of Agriculture, Science and Technology Gujba, matriculates 514 Students.

Yobe State College of Agriculture, Science and Technology, Gujba has matriculated a total of 514 National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) students at its 28th matriculation ceremony.

In a statement made available to newsmen by the director information Muhammad Makinta said the newly admitted students were enrolled into various programmes under the Colleges of School of Agriculture, School of Engineering, School of Health Sciences and School of Sciences.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Rector, Dr Alkali Umara Usman, disclosed that the College is making efforts to introduce additional diploma programmes, including Diploma in Library Science, Diploma in Social Work, and Diploma in Health Information.

He further announced that the College has secured full approval for Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics and Diploma in Public Health, a development aimed at expanding academic opportunities and meeting the growing demand for skilled professionals.
The Rector expressed his appreciation to the Executive Secretary of TETFund and his management team for their continued support of the growth and development of the institution.
He also conveyed his profound gratitude to the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Dr Mai Mala Buni, for his enormous support and commitment to the development and growth of the College.
