Yobe new acting SSG assumed office.

 The handing and taking over ceremony took place at the governor’s office conference Hall in Damaturu.

 Speaking before the official handing over the  permanent secretary general administration office of the SSG, Alhaji Modu, on behalf of the staff assured him that they would give him all the necessary support and cooperation to move the state forward.

 Alhaji Modu Said the new acting SSG is a seasoned administrator with a track record of service to steer the affairs of the office of the Secretary to the State Government.

Responding shortly after taking over the affairs of the office, the newly appointed acting secretary to the state government Dr Muhammad Goje assured that he assumed the office of the SSG with a clear sense of duty to the people of the state noting that the office is the engine room of government.

 He reaffirmed his commitment to ensure seamless coordination of policies, swift implementation of the governor’s agenda and responsive service to all ministries, departments,ts, and agencies.

 The acting SSG solicited the support and cooperation of civil servants, traditional institutions and citizens to uphold transparency, efficiency and excellence in governance.

 Dr Goje expressed gratitude to Governor Mai Mala Buni for the privilege to serve as acting SSG and assured to prioritise in stabilising the administration processes towards policy alignment across MDAs and keeping the government responsive to the needs of the people.

 He further reassured his firm commitment to consolidate on the achievements of the former SSG and All Progressives Congress APC preferred candidate for the 2027 election.

 The handing and taking over ceremony was attended by the commissioner, permanent secretaries, special adviser, special assistant, head of board and parastatals, traditional rulers l, friends, associates,  relatives and well-wishers from across the state.
