ZAMFARA GOVT. OFFERS N5 MILLION, FOOD ITEMS TO FAMILIES OF LATE EMIR OF MORIKI
Zamfara government has donated Five million Naira and 30 bags of assorted grains to the families of late emir of Moriki, Alhaji Sama’ila Muhammad Ari who died on Monday following a protracted illness.
A 73 year old traditional ruler who died at a private Hospital in Kaduna was laid to rest according to Islamic injunction at the Moriki palace cemetery in Moriki town of Zurmi local government Area.
In a statement issued in Gusau by the Director General Press Affairs and Public Relations of the state house of assembly, Mustafa Jafaru-Kaura said the donation was presented to the deceased family by the state government delegation led by the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Alhaji Nasiru Magarya.
Magarya who represented Governor. Bello Matawalle at the condolence visit called on the immediate family, friends and well wishers of the late emir to consider the death as destined.

“He said the donation was aimed at cushioning the hardship in the family over the emir’s death.
“On behalf of Governor Bello Matawalle, state government and the entire people of Moriki emirate council and Zurmi local government area over this great loss.
“Magarya described the late emir, Alhaji Sama’ila Muhammad-Ari as a father and exceptional leader”, the statement said.
He prayed to Allah to grant the deceased Aljannah Firdausi and prayed to Almighty Allah to give them comfort and courage to bear this irreparable loss.
“He promised that the state government will continue to support the family,” he said.
Responding on behalf of the deceased family, the Emir of Kaura Namoda Alhaji Sanusi Muhammad-Asha thanked the state government for the visit and donation.
“This indicate the government’s concern to the plights of it’s people,” Muhammad-Asha said.
“Muhammad-Asha called on the government at all levels to intensify efforts in overcoming the precarious security challenges facing Zamfara and other parts of the country.
“The government delegation includes Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Kabiru Balarabe, Chief of staff to the Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulaiman, Deputy Speaker, State Assembly, Alhaji Musa Bawa-Yankuzo, House Majority Leader, Alhaji Faruk Musa-Dosara and State APC Chairman, Alhaji Tukur Danfulani among others”, Jafaru-Kaura added.
