Zamfara: No cause For alarm on mass defection of Sen. Marafa’s supporters to PDP—-Bakyasuwa

The Spokesperson of Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa, Bello Bakyasuwa Maradun has reacted to the recent defection of some loyalists of Senator Marafa to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), says no cause of alarm.

Bakyasuwa stated this while speaking to newsmen in Gusau on Monday.

The VMTnews reports that one of the loyalists to Sen. Marafa, Rabiu Emir had yesterday defected to the rulling PDP in the state.

But Bakyasuwa said the Emir has been sent to PDP for a hidden political mission.

“People should not bother about the defection of Rabiu emir and other APC supporters from Sen. Marafa movement.

“The close relationship of Rabiu emir with Sen. Marafa is evident enough to prove that he is only in PDP to fool  Governor Bello Matawalle and PDP leaders in the state.

“We have read about his defection on social media, but we are fully informed of that movement, and we sent him to PDP for a mission” Bakyasuwa added.

According to him, “there is no cause of alarm because of recent defection of Marafa supporters to the ruling PDP since hundreds of PDP supporters are also massively defecting to Marafa political movement”.

He called on APC supporters in the state to remain calm and don’t be discourage because of any form of propaganda or political witch-hunting by the PDP led government in the state.

Bakyasuwa described the recent reconciliation by the APC stakeholders in the state as welcome development, saying that it boosted the party’s strength and development.
