Adamawa: 4 Tricycle robbery Suspects in police net

Adamawa State Police Command has arrested 4 suspected armed robbers and recovered stolen tricycle from the suspects.

The suspects include Abdullahi Yusuf, 22yrs, Umar Yahaya 20yrs, Hassan Ishaka, 24yrs, Shuaibu Abubakar, 19yrs.

The suspects are residents of Kwabura Village, Hawal LGA, Borno State.

They were arrested on April 7th, 2024, after attacking a tricyclist, Nuhu Muhammed, in an attempt to disposses him of his tricycle along Jimeta-Mubi Bridge.

A statement by the image maker of the command, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, said investigations so far revealed that the suspects boarded the tricycle to a certain location at Vunoklang in Girei LGA.

He said while on their way to the said location, the suspects applied force on their victim, threatened him with dangerous weapons, pushed him out of the tricycle and went away with it.

According to him, a swift response from the Jimeta Division Patrol Team led to the arrest of the suspects.

He said “The Commissioner of Police CP Dankombo Morris, assured that the suspects will be charged to court for criminal conspiracy and armed aobbery upon the completion of the investigation.
