Adamawa ALGON Gets New Leadership
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has constituted a new Leadership to run the affairs of the State Chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria ALGON.
This comes hours after the inauguration of the 21 Council Chairmen who emerged winners during last weekend’s Council polls in Adamawa State.
Gidado Abdussalam of Song is to serve as the Chairman, Amos Drambi of Michika is the Vice Chairman, while Suleiman Ahmed Gangkuba of Toungo is to serve as Secretary.


Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri who congratulated them for the opportunity to serve their colleagues urged the forum to field in other positions available to enable them move the association forward and run with the vision of the Government in meeting the yearnings and aspirations of the people of Adamawa State.

He tasked the association to think outside the box towards making a difference in governance in the next two years.
