ADAMAWA APC CONTENDS LOOMING CRISIS AHEAD OF PRIMARIES.

Edom John

The All Progressives Congress in Adamawa state has called on their members to not allow their personal interest override the party’s interest which is capable of blocking their chances of taking over Government in 2023 general elections.

The call was made during the party’s special Congress meeting with screening committee from the National Secretariat, as well as other critical stakeholders of the party, in Yola the Adamawa state capital.

According to the chairman of the committee Ahmad Aminu, the committee’s assignment is to conduct screening for the state house of Assembly and also to interact with the stakeholders on critical issues concerning the party.

He assured them of the committee’s commitment to conduct the exercise with all fairness and tranquility, and with special consideration to the decisions of the previous Congress, in view  of laying to rest some of the social media rumours about sub-changing of delegates:

( Basically we’re here and we want to interface with stakeholders here, to avail ourselves to them, for them to see us and be aware we are here. And interact with them and tell them this is the assignment we’ve come down here to do. Like i said i don’t want to take much of our time. I want to believe Adamawa APC is something like one body . So we’re here, we are trying to do what we want to do based on fairness and tranquility. We’re here and we’ll give fair and equal opportunity to all)
