Bagudu mourns Septuagenarian, Alhaji Aliyu Bagudo

Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Bagudu, Friday night, in Birnin Kebbi, condoled the family of Septuagenarian, Alhaji Aliyu Bagudo, who died on Thursday, at the Federal Medical Centre, Birnin Kebbi, at the age of 78.

Bagudu was accompanied on the condolence visit by two former Governors of the state , Senator Adamu Aliero and Alhaji Saidu Nasamu Dakingari.

The Governor said: ” We are here for a condolence of the demise of the renowned devout and patriotic elder statesman.

” We are here on behalf of the people and Government of Kebbi State in this unfortunate loss of our late erudite statesman .

” Death is inevitable and all of us must at one time or the other die, at God’s appointed time.

” His family, relatives, well wishers and all of us must take heart and pray for the Almighty Allah to, grant him Aljannat Firdaus, as well as give us the formidable fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”

The late elder statesman was buried on Friday, in Birnin Kebbi, according to Islamic rites.

He is survived by four wives, twenty five children and seventy two grand children.

Earlier, the Chief of Staff Government House Birnin Kebbi, Alhaji Suleiman Muhammad Argungu (Jarman Kabi) offered special prayers for the repose of the soul of late Alhaji Ali Bagudo (Jarman Bargu)

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu was accompanied by Former Governors of Kebbi State, Senator Muhammad Adamu Aliero, Alhaji Sa’idu Usman Nasamu Dakingari, Member House of representatives representing Jega-Aliero Federal constituency Alhaji Muhd Umar Jega, Dr. Hussaini Suleiman Kangiwa, Chairman Persons with Disability Commission, Chief of Staff Government House Birnin Kebbi , Alhaji Suleiman Muhammad Argungu (Jarman Kabi), Commissioners, and the Chairman of Argungu Local Government, Alhaji Musa Muhammad Tungulawa among others.
