Corruption trial: Ganduje, family absent in court
The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Abdullahi Ganduje, as well as his wife and son are absent at the Kano State High Court on Wednesday to answer charges bordering on corruption and misappropriation of public funds.
It was gathered that the court slated Wednesday, April 17 for Mr Ganduje, his wife, Hafsat, and son, Umar, to appear before it over allegations of corruption.
When the matter came up before Justice Usman Na’abba, Mr Ganduje’s counsel, Nureini Jimoh, said his client had not been served with the charges personally.
Only the 6th respondent, through his counsel, Nureini Jimoh SAN, was present in court while the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th and 8th respondents were absent in court.
