DEMOCRACY DAY: NORTH WEST APC SPOKESPERSON LAUDS MATAWALLE FOR RECONCILIATION DRIVE IN ZAMFARA
Mr Musa Mailafiya Mada the North West Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has commended Gov Bello Matawalle of Zamfara for initiating reconciliation process for the APC warring factions in the state.
Mada made the commendation in Gusau while commenting on the 2022 Democracy Day.
He said Matawalle should be commended for initiating reconciliation process that promoted unity, peace and stability in our great party.
“With the wisdom of the reconciliation in our great party ends lingering political instability in the state.
“You know, one of the major challenges facing our dear state, is political instability that has negative impact on governance.

“With the reconciliation all major political stakeholders in the state are now united under the APC.
He noted that the reconciliation drive has also boosted the party’s strength all levels in the coming 2023 general elections.

Mada commended the former Gov Abdul’aziz Yari and Sen Kabiru Marafa for their contributions to the reconciliation drive in the state.
The Zonal APC Publicity Secretary also commended Matawalle for his efforts in addressing security challenges facing the state.
“You know, Matawalle immediately after his assumption in office as Zamfara governor he initiated peace dialogue with bandits which reduced security challenges to a minimal level.
“The measures has now reduced attacks in our communities unlike before”, he said.
“I think Matawalle should also be commended for youths inclusiveness in governance.
“Matawalle has appointed competent Zamfara youths in to various government positions.
“With this development, our youths have strong representation in the State Executives Council”, Mada explained.
