FORMER APGA NATIONAL SECRETARY, SANI SHINKAFI JOINS APC

The former National Secretary of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Dr Sani Shinkafi defected to the All Progressive Congress (APC).

Dr Shinkafi who announced his defection with thousands of his supporters while addressing his teeming supporters in Gusau on Monday said he didn’t join APC for material gain.

“I decided to join Governor Bello Matawalle to APC for the development of the state.

“I am living APGA not because I don’t like the party but I am living APGA in order to join Gov Matawalle in the APC to rebuild My mother state”

” I was invited by Governor Bello Matawalle himself to join him in the APC, as such I see no reason why I should not join him”, Dr Shinkafi said.

“As among the founding fathers of APGA, have been in the party for 19 years where I raised up to the rank of the National secretary of the party.

“I am not leaving APGA because of a house, money or wife because God has blessed me with all of these.

” I am joining the APC with Matawalle so as to render my support to build Zamfara”. Said Shinkafi”, he explained.

According to him, he didn’t join APC for any position, “those who are thinking that I am defecting to APC because of material things are wrong”.

“I have decided to defect to APC as from today Monday 28, 6 2021 and I am calling on all my supporters to also join me in the APC.

“I am not forcing anybody to defect to APC and I will however continue to relate with those who chose to remain in the APGA because of our long existing relationship”. He added.

Shinkafi thanked Governor Anambara state and the National Chairman of APGA for the support and assistance they rendered to him during his membership in APGA.
