Former Kogi Governor Hails Sultan On Chieftaincy Title

The former Governor of Kogi state Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has commended Sultan of Sokoto Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar 111 for the conferment of Chieftaincy title on him titled Jakada of Sokoto.
Idris made the commendation on Monday in his residence at Rujin Sambo , Sokoto while talking to newsmen.
” I lauded the Sultan’s gesture for finding me worthy for the title he stated .

The former Governor disclosed that though he started his life in Sokoto noted that Sokoto people are hospitable and accommodating
” I started my furniture business in Sokoto when the state was old Sokoto comprising Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara”.
He urged all Nigerians to live peacefully with one another irrespective of ethnic and religious background saying the unity of this country is sancronsant.
He further stated that he will remain a good ambassador of Sultanate council.
