Gov. Bagudu approves N140m as car, motorcycle, furniture loan to civil servants

Gov. Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi, has granted approval for the release of N140 million to civil servants in the State as car ,motorcycle and furniture loan.

The approval is contained in a statement signed by the Commissioner of Finance, Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammad-Augie and made available to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi on Friday.

It said the loan was to be disbursed to eligible civil servants as car, motorcycle and furniture loan in respective Ministries, Departments and Agencies, (MDAs) to be repaid within five years without any interest, (interest free loan).

“The gesture by the governor is part of his sustained effort to boost the morale of civil servants towards improving their performance.

“Civil servants are therefore expected to reciprocate this kind gesture by the governor to be dedicated to their duties,” the statement said.
