Governor Bagudu Joined Thousands Of Muslim Faithful In Janaza Prayer

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu this Wednesday joined thousands of Muslim faithful in Janaza prayer for Hajiya Luba Abubakar Abba Aliero who died today in her sleep.


The funeral prayer which took place at the family residence at Aliero was attended by his elder brother Senator Muhammadu Adamu Aliero.

Also in attendance were the Deputy Governor of Kebbi State Retired Colonel Sama’ila Yombe Dabai, Speaker House of Assembly Hon. Sama’ila Abdulmuminu Kamba and his Deputy Muhammadu Buhari Aliero, Members of National and State Assemblies, Commissioners, Judges, Khadis, Secretary to the State Government, Chief of Staff, acting Head of Service, District Heads of Aliero, Danwarai, Sabiyel and Sarkin Kabin Jega, Alhaji Arzika Bawa Jega.


The rest were permanent secretaries, local government chairmen, businessmen, Islamic scholars and politicians.
The governor prayed Allah to grant her Aljannah Firdausi and her husband, Alhaji Abba Aliero fortitude to bear the loss.
Islamic clerics led special prayers for the repose of her soul as well as God’s protection on leaders and the nation.

Late Hajiya Luba died at age of 45, leaving behind her husband, five children and many relations.


At Makera Gandu, Birnin Kebbi, the Governor condoled with the family of Late Barrister Saddik Abubakar a retired Judiciary Staff on the death of his children which occurred in a road accident along Birnin Kebbi – Sokoto highway this Wednesday.


The deceased were Muhammad Abubakar Dodo 34, Mariya Aliyu 9 years and Hauwa’u Siddiku 8 years.
Late Muhammad was a graduate of Medical Laboratory Science from Usman Danfodio University Sokoto.
The Governor prayed Allah to grant them Aljannah Firdausi and the family fortitude to bear the loss.


Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu was accompanied on the condolence visit by Speaker-House of Assembly, Hon. Sama’ila Abdulmuminu Kamba, Special Adviser on Energy, Yusuf Haruna Rasheed, Commissioner for Finance, Ibrahim Muhammad Augie, Alhaji Abubakar Nayaya Chairman Local Government Service Commission, Alhaji Sahabi Lolo a Businessman and Alhaji Danladi Jandutsi
