VC Federal University Gusau Receives COVID-19 Vaccine
The Vice Chancellor, Federal University Gusau (FUGUS), Prof. Mu’azu Abubakar on Wednesday received his first jab of AstraZeneca vaccine against Covid-19 pandemic.
This is contained in a statement issued in Gusau on Wednesday by the Information Officer of the University, Mr Umar Usman.

Usman said the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Abubakar and other management staff of the institution received doses of the vaccine by the vaccination team of Zamfara State Ministry of Health.

“The vaccination took place at the Vice-Chancellor’s office.
“Other management staff who received the vaccine at the event were the University Registrar, Mr Yakubu Anivbassa and Director, Health Services Department, Dr Babangida Abdul’azeez.
“The VC has said that the vaccination of management staff will serve as a flag-off of the exercise in the institution,” he said.
He said the exercise would continue with other staff of the University on Thursday, March 25.
