Governor Fintiri Bags ‘2021 Blueprint Newspapers Governor of the Year Award’

Adamawa State Governor, Rt Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, was on Tuesday conferred with a prestigious award as Blueprint Newspapers Governor of the Year 2021 by the Newspaper in Abuja.
The award was in recognition of his purposeful leadership and by all standards, being a good manager of state resources and providing developments in all spheres of life. His tremendous and visible progress spread across the State is the icing on the cake to making Adamawa Work Again which earned him the name PROJECT MASTER, FRESH AIR GOVERNOR, and ATM GOVERNOR .
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri is like a gold fish who stands out in the crowd with his innovative ways of doing things. An outstanding Governor with an outstanding performance, who have totally changed the Landscape of Adamawa State and uplifted the standard of life and human capital development.

The Blueprint Annual Public Lectures and Impact Series/Awards held Tuesday at International Conference Centre, Abuja with a theme, 2023 Politics, National Security & Nigeria’s Stability was created to ensure leaders at the sub-national levels of governance imbibe the culture of hard work and deliver the dividends of democracy to its citizens.

At the end of the intense data-gathering exercise, 3 governors emerged as winners of Blueprint Governor of the Year 2021 award. They include Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State and Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State.
Others were conferred with Blueprint Persons of the Year, Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai of Kaduna State and Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State.
Also, Alhaji Yahaya Bello of Kogi State and Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State were conferred with an award of Politicians of the Year 2021 and few other awards were given.
VMT NEWS gathered that the awardees expressed gratitude that their efforts were being recognised and pledged that such recognition would spur them to do more.
This annual programme only serves to single out executive governors who have improved the socio-economic well-being in their respective jurisdiction
VMT NEWS reports that Blueprint Annual Public Lectures and Impact Series Awards came into being to provide an independent feedback mechanism to States on the different policies, programmed and projects they execute and the effects such actions are having on the socio-economic well-being of the residents of their States.
