GOVERNOR FINTIRI RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS AWARD ON EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has been honoured with the prestigious award of Best Governor in Education Development by the foremost Nigerian National Daily, the ‘Business Day.’

The Governor who was represented by his Chief of staff Professor Maxwell Gidado (SAN) says the award did not come to him as a surprise because he believes education being the bedrock of development is his way of giving hope to the future generation.
The Governor also disclosed that his administration is changing the narrative of education in the state promising to continue giving his best towards education development in the state.

Among the dignitaries that graced the occasion were the Legislators representing Yola South, North end Girei constituency at the National Assembly Jafaru Ribadu,and his counterpart of Michika and madagali honourable Zakaria Dauda Nyampa as well as Numan Demsa,guyuk and shelling honourable kwamoti Laori.

commissioner Of Higher and Professional Education Honourable Umar Daware and his counterpart from the Ministry of Special Duties Babadoke Augustine, Special Adviser on Pilgrims and Chietaincy who doubles as DG campaign fresh air 2019 Alhaji Usman Aliyu Marafa and his colleagues Hon Musa MD Yusuf( Orlando)adviser on local government affairs, Members of the House of Assembly Hon Adwawa Dongolok of Guyuk,Hon. Bathiya wisely of Hong, Hon.Musa Mbororo of Mubi, Hon.Umaru Nashon of Nassarawo Binyeri,Hon.japhet kefas of gombi,state chairman PDP Barrister AT Shehu and organising secretary Alhaji Hamza Madagali and local government Chairmen among other dignitaries

Highlights of the event was the presentation of the award at the Transcorp Hilton hotel Abuja.
