Governor Uba Sani’s Aid Launches Computer Training In Sabon Gari

As part of the celebrations for the first anniversary of Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, his Special Assistant on NGO matters, Honorable Muktar Zubair, launched a computer training program for 11 secondary schools in the Sabon Gari Local Government area of Kaduna State. The program, titled “Cyber Online Safety Crusade: Protecting Our Future,” aims to enhance computer literacy and promote safe online practices among students.

The training was inaugurated at Kwangila Secondary School in Sabon Gari, Zaria. During the launch, Honorable Muktar Zubair (Prince) informed the participants that the training was a collaborative effort with experts in computer science, including Safety Online Crusader, Zee Tech Foundation, and Gamji Youth and Women Empowerment Initiative. These organizations are renowned in the field and have committed to teaching students how to use computers effectively and safely, avoiding detrimental practices.

Honorable Muktar highlighted Safe Space Energy Company as the sponsor of this valuable training program for the 11 secondary schools in the area. He added that the program would select 20 outstanding students from each school, totaling 220 students, to receive additional training aimed at helping them excel in the University Matriculation Examination without any difficulties.

He emphasized that the knowledge the students would gain is a testament to the support from Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, and expressed gratitude and best wishes for the success of his administration.

The special guest of honor, Alhaji Abdul-Jalim Isa, representing the chairman of Safe Space Energy Company, Alhaji Nazir Abdullahi from Abuja, urged the students to be diligent in their pursuit of knowledge to benefit themselves and the wider community. He also cautioned against using computer skills for dishonest purposes. Alhaji Isa commended the students and teachers for their cooperation and prayed for the successful completion of the training.

The principal of Kwangila Secondary School, Malam Sani Ahmed, expressed his gratitude to the Honorable Muktar for his significant efforts. He extended his best wishes to the Kaduna State government on its one-year anniversary.

Malam Danladi, Chairman of the School-Based Management Committee (SBMC), praised the institutions providing the training and encouraged the students to focus on their lessons to achieve lifelong success.

Naziru Nasiru, a student from SS2B, expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to learn computer skills close to home, which he believes will help them succeed in their examinations, God willing.

The event was attended by the Sarki of Samaru, Hanwa, and Kwangila, and concluded successfully.
