Gunmen assassinate Taraba Monarch

Gunmen, on Thursday night killed a Third Class Chief of Sensani village in Gasol local government area of Taraba state Alhaji Abdulmutalib Nuhu.
The gunmen who stormed Sensani village about 9 pm on Thursday, head straight to the palace, shot and killed the third class chief.
The elder brother to the chief Nuhu Salihu Sanseni who confirmed the sad development while speaking with our correspondent said the the gunmen came on motorcycles with guns, killed his brother and left with his phones.
“They came to the area at about 9 pm last night, they went straight to his palace, shot and killed him, snatched his 2 phones, while they were going, they met with a young man who was coming on a motorcycle, they also shot and broke his leg before leaving the village. Sansani stated.

Though a senior police officer who is serving within Sansani told our Correspondent that his men were already trailing the killers of Nuhu, the acting Police Public Relations Officer Taraba state command ASP James Lashen said he was yet to get details of the incident.
“I am not aware of that. I am on my way to the Office now, if I receive any situation report , I will inform you” he said.
