The candidate, who was represented by Alhaji Kabiru Sani-Giant, Chairman, Nasir Idris Campaign Movement and leader of S7-4-BAT-2023, Tinubu/Shettima North-West Campaign Organisation, observed that political thuggery had become part and parcel of Nigerian politics which must be addressed.
“We observed that these menace are as a result of unemployment but if we eventually come to power, we are going to establish a ministry that will be mandated to fish out drug addicts and thugs across the state.
“The ministry will sensitise such category of persons and create job opportunities to enable them not only become self reliant but also employers of labour and useful members of the society.
“When these youth have something doing, nobody will lure them to engage in anything thuggery again, this we promised and by the grace of God Almighty we are going to do that,” he pledged.

The flag-bearer lauded the organisers’ efforts, advising them to sustain the tempo to go down to all wards and polling units of not only Ngaski and Yauri LGAs but across the entire state.
He said: “This is a laudable programme that will certainly save our teeming youth who either engage in drug abuse or political thuggery. Therefore, I urge you to keep the flag flying by spreading your tentacles to all nooks and crannies of Kebbi State for the good of the society.”
