Nigeria ‘ll soon overcome insecurity says Wamakko

The senator representing Sokoto North Senatorial district and Chairman, Senate Committee on Defence, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko has assured that the myriad of security challenges currently facing Nigeria will soon be a thing of the past.
He listed the challenges to include: Kidnappings, banditry, cattle rustling, insurgency and other related crimes and criminality will soon become history.
Senator Wamakkko made the disclosure in Sokoto on Thursday, shortly after returning from an official trip in Abuja.
Addressing a cross section of his supporters, Wamakko expressed dissatisfaction with the current menace of insecurity facing the country.

He assured: ” Measures are being taken by the Federal Government to overcome these problems, in conjunction with the National Assembly and the security agencies.”
In a statement by his special adviser on media and publicity Hassan Sahabi Sanyinnawal quoted Wamakko calling on Nigerians to sustain their support in achieving the desired goal .
He also sympathized with the victims of banditry, cattle rustling , insurgency and kidnappings across the nation.
The former Governor of Sokoto State also prayed the Almighty Allah to forgive those who lost their lives and give their families the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
