The Yobe State government under Governor Buni continues its commitment to improving healthcare access for its citizens. Today, functional Primary Healthcare Centers (PHCs) in Damaturu and Potiskum are providing crucial medical services to mothers and children, bringing relief to communities.

The newly operational PHCs at Mairi and Gwange in Damaturu, and Bolewa ‘A’ and Dogon Zare in Potiskum, have significantly reduced the need for residents to travel long distances for basic medical care. This move has also eased the burden on secondary and tertiary health institutions, helping to decongest these facilities.
