ZAMFARA APC CHAIRMANSHIP: YOUTHS COALITION ENDORSES TUKUR DANFULANI –AZZAMFARY
The Coalition of Zamfara All Progressives Congress (APC) Youths Coalition has endorsed the candidature of Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani to contest for the State Chairmanship position of the party.
The Honorable Tukur Umar Danfulani who was the former Acting State Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) defected to the APC following Gov Bello Matawalle’s defection to the party.
Speaking at a press conference in Gusau on Thursday, the Chairman of the Coalition, Najeeb Azzamfary said the coalition unanimously endorsed Danfulani’s candidature.

“We all agreed on Danfulani’s candidature to be our new State APC Chairman in the upcoming Saturday’s State Congress of our great party considering his record of political progress in the state during his stewardship when he was Acting State PDP Chairman.
“We consider him to be our next state APC Chairman for his efforts in building the APC in the state since when Gov Bello Matawalle’s defected to the party”.
He said that Tukur Danfulani was well known to the average average Zamfara citizen, describing him as a young agile politician who has grassroots political experience in line with the political ideology of Gov Bello Matawalle”.
Azzamfary noted that Danfulani’s experiences as a party statesman started as PDP Chairman of Gusau LGA, up to Acting State PDP Chairman and also Chairman and Secretary of many strategic committees of the party and in the Matawalle’s led administration.
“Zamfara APC leadership led by Gov Matawalle needs a leader who is not only loyal but honest and with full political ideas to promote Zamfara to the next level”, he said adding that Danfulani had led meaningfully in the past to warrant new responsibilities.
Azzamfary therefore called on all APC stakeholders in the state especially the delegates from the 14 LGAs of the state to unite and support Danfulani as a new State APC Chairman in the forthcoming State APC Congress slated for Saturday.
