ZAMFARA APC DISTRIBUTES N62m, 84 TRICYCLES,168 MOTORCYCLES TO WARDS, LGAs PARTY EXECUTIVES
The Zamfara Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has distributed N62 million, 84 tricycles and 168 motorcycles to the party executives in the 42 wards and four local government areas of Zamfara North Senatorial District.
The State APC Publicity Secretary, Malam Yusuf Idris Gusau said in a statement on Friday that the cash and items were donated to the party executives by the lawmaker representing Zamfara North Senatorial District, Alhaji Sahabi Ya’u Kaura Namoda.
“The items include 84 tricycles, 168 motorcycles and N64 million naira provided under the empowerment programme of the lawmaker.
“Party executives from each ward to receive two tricycles, four motorcycles and N1 million, while N5 million naira donated to local government party executives in the four LGAs,” he said.
According to him, the distribution exercise was performed by the state APC Chairman, Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani, in Kaura Namoda Town.
Danfulani, represented by the State Secretary of the party, Alhaji Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima, said the gesture was provided by the lawmaker to support party wards and local government executives in Kaura Namoda, Birnin Magaji, Shinkafi and Zurmi LGAs.

“This is a welcome development, the gesture will make a lot of impact in promoting economic status of the beneficiaries and entire state in general.
“The party is proud of the laudable programmes of Sen. Sahabi Ya’u, especially at the grassroots where they have direct bearing on the electorate.
“I am giving assurance that the party leadership will continue to support and cooperate on the empowerment programme of the lawmaker,” he explained.
The party chairman expressed confidence that with the laudable programmes, the party would emerge victorious at the forthcoming general elections at all elective positions in the state.
He advised beneficiaries to utilize the gesture in addressing their immediate economic and social needs.
